Instead of trying to make something impressive (like the perfectionist inside of us strives for everyday), your group will make something imperfect on purpose.

The fun kicks in when the pressure is lifted.

This is not for your group if you don't want tons of laughter, loosening up and connecting with each other! They might even rediscover a side of themselves they haven’t seen in a while. The silly, curious, expressive side.

This workshop is for everyone. No art skills needed. It’s simply a chance for your group to play, create, and have fun together.

What to Expect

Sketchy Friends is a playful, guided drawing experience built around quick portraits, funny prompts, and creative challenges.

Your group will:

• Draw fast, intentionally imperfect portraits of each other. Some might look vaguely like the person. Some definitely won’t. That’s part of the fun.

• Take on unexpected drawing challenges that get people out of their heads and into the moment.

• Move around, interact, and connect with people they may not normally spend time with.

• Leave with a collection of wonderfully terrible drawings and a shared experience they’ll be talking about afterward.

There’s nothing to be good at and nothing to get right. It’s a chance to see coworkers, friends, or fellow group members in a completely different way.

You bring the people. I’ll bring the permission to make bad art.
