For six days, Hypatía Villa is ours.
Wake to the courtyard fountain with nowhere you have to be for anyone else. Carry your coffee to a sunny terrace. Make art at the table. Slip into the pool. Get dressed for dinner with music playing and someone across the hall asking to borrow your lipstick. Come home at night rosy-cheeked and full of stories.
With only five beautiful suites and eight women, the villa feels intimate, easy, and safe enough for you to drop the polished version of yourself. You can be quiet before coffee. You can cry because something is beautiful. You can laugh until you snort. You can go to bed early or be the last one talking in the courtyard.
Custom designed in 2003 by renowned San Miguel architect Juan Carlos Valdez, Hypatía Villa was built in the style of a traditional Mexican hacienda around an open courtyard and central fountain. It is named for Hypatia, one of history’s first recorded female mathematicians—a woman remembered for her wisdom, curiosity, and love of learning.
