A creative space for young

artists who don’t fit in a box

✏️ This is for the ones who see the world a little differently.
✏️ The ones who draw in the margins
✏️ The ones that make up their own characters
✏️ The ones who imagine whole worlds in their heads.

Art Gang welcomes everyone.

Gender fluid, nonbinary, shy, loud, still figuring it out. They belong here. There’s no pressure to be perfect. No pressure to be like anyone else. They get to show up as they are.

Safe and supported

This space is monitored by an adult at all times. That means respectful conversations, no bullying, and a place where you can feel comfortable sharing your work.

Why this matters

A lot of young people don’t have people in their everyday life who get who they are and what they’re making. Here, they are surrounded by people who do.

New friends who care about art, creating characters, writing stories, and drawing...just because they love it.

Welcome to the Art Gang

Art Gang is a safe, online community for artists ages 11 to 15 who want a place to share their ideas, characters, and comics.

Inside, artists:
Share original characters.

Share sketchbook pages.

Share weird, bold, unfinished selves.

This is a space where being different is celebrated.

What happens inside the app?

You’ll daughter will be part of a private group where they can:

• Post their original characters and comics

• Share their drawings and works in progress

• Talk with other artists about their ideas

• Stay inspired by what others are creating

Recap Video of all the drawings the girls posted on the private app.

My Mission

I created Art Gang because I know what it feels like to have ideas and nowhere to put them.

This is a space for young artists to share their characters, their comics, their sketchbook pages, and all the things they’re thinking about creating. No pressure to be perfect. No pressure to fit in.

I care about this being a place where your artist feels safe showing their work and talking about it. A place where the others respond, encourage them, and actually get what they’re making.

Art Gang is for young artists who see the world a little differently. The ones who have big imaginations, strong opinions, or just want somewhere they can be themselves.

They are welcome here exactly as they are.

And I’m here, making sure it stays that way.

Why did I create this?
Because I was that shy, out of place girl when I was their age. It was hard...and I am changing that!

The Impact

I’ve watched girls join Art Gang at eight years old and six years later, she is still a member.

That matters to me more than anything, because it means this became a place they feel safe to grow as artists and girls who trust their own voice.

I think about one of my Art Gang artists a lot, CocoaWhen she first joined, she was quiet. She didn’t say much. I could feel her holding back, trying to figure out if it was okay to share.

Over time, she kept showing up. Posting her work. Talking a little more. Taking up a little more space. Now she’s promoting her own animation series pilot.

That didn’t happen overnight. It happened because she had a place where she could keep going. A place where her ideas were seen and supported.

That’s the impact of Art Gang.
