Enrollment for Fun Through the Fear is now open.

If there’s an idea, change, or “what if?” you keep coming back to… this is your invitation to explore it with support.

Enrollment closes Sept. 15 / or before if this cohort reaches capacity.

Fun Through the Fear is a FREE 7 day guided experience for women who feel stuck, restless, or pulled toward a new possibility—and want to turn one honest “what if?” into a realistic next brave step.

Created by Jen Landis—former Creative Director and Executive VP, entrepreneur, university professor, and author of Skip the Bad Songs. For years, Jen has helped women make room for creativity, confidence, and the next chapter they have been afraid to name.

For 30 years, I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I got the degrees, climbed the corporate ladder, earned promotion after promotion, and eventually became a Creative Director and Executive VP.

From the outside, it looked successful. But I wasn’t having fun anymore.

Leaving terrified me. I had spent three decades building an identity I knew how to explain to other people.

But when I finally resigned, I did not suddenly have a perfect plan. I had a spark of curiosity—and enough willingness to follow it before I could explain where it would lead. That small choice led me into entrepreneurship, teaching, writing, and creating spaces like this one.

Fun Through the Fear is built around that same practice: you do not need to map your whole future. You need a way to hear what is calling you and take the next true step.

Enrollment closes Sept. 15 / or before if this cohort reaches capacity.

Every fulfilling chapter of my life began before I knew how it was going to work or how to do it.

Maybe your life looks fine from the outside. You’ve built a career. Raised a family. Been the dependable one. But lately, an old dream keeps tapping you on the shoulder. A class you want to take. A creative project. A change you can’t quite name. And every time you get close, you make another pros-and-cons list, ask someone else what they think, or decide you should wait until you feel more certain. You’re not lazy. You’re not ungrateful. You’re just tired of talking yourself out of your own life.

Follow the Spark Before You Have the Whole Map

The Old Way: Wait Until You Feel Ready

Keep researching. Make another pros-and-cons list. Ask everyone else what they think. Tell yourself you will begin when you have more time, more confidence, or a plan nobody could question.

A Better Way: Follow the Spark Before You Have the Whole Map

Notice what keeps calling you. Get honest about what fear is protecting—and what it is exaggerating. Then take one small, supported experiment that gives you real information instead of more reasons to wait.

Move through the three simple steps of my MVE process:

Notice the Spark

Name the idea, interest, or dream you keep pushing aside. Or uncover a hidden idea.

Make Fear Smaller

Separate real risk from the stories your brain is using to keep you safe.

Try the Next Fun Brave Thing

Leave with one exciting realistic experiment that helps you build momentum.

What the 7 Day Experience Looks Like

Live Session 1: Notice What Is Calling You
Likely you've researched, made pros-and-cons lists, asked others for permission, waited for confidence, and tried to “figure it out” privately. Those approaches did not work because they kept them in analysis rather than helping them take a safe, meaningful first step. You will start to identify your top idea, interest, or possibility you have been minimizing or postponing.

Live Session 2: Make Fear Smaller
Emotionally you might feel restless, tender, and quietly hopeful. Or you may feel guilty for wanting more when your life looks fine from the outside—and afraid that acting on the desire will disappoint others or destabilize what they have built. You will learn to separate true risk from old stories, expectations, and “what will people think?” thinking.

Live Session 3: Choose Your Next Brave Thing
You'll no longer find yourself saying things like: “I feel stuck,” “I don’t know what I want next,” “Maybe I missed my chance,” “I keep talking myself out of it,” and “I don’t want to make some huge dramatic change.” Create one realistic experiment that gives you momentum—without requiring a dramatic life change.

After the Experience: Keep Moving With Evidence
You will leave with a plan, prompts, and proof that you can take action before every answer is in place. You'll feel alive, self-trusting, and allowed to pursue the possibility that keeps tugging at you—without blowing up the life you built.

“I came in feeling like I had missed my chance to do something new. By the end, I had named what I wanted to explore, chosen a first step, and stopped treating my own curiosity like something I had to justify.”   — Pat, 62, returning to her creative life

“Jen helped me see that I did not need to reinvent everything overnight. I needed to trust myself enough to begin.”   — Julia, 46, navigating a new season after motherhood

FAQs

What if I don’t even know what I want to do next?
You do not need a fully formed dream before you join. This is for the woman with a vague pull, a collection of interests, or a “what if?” she has not known how to take seriously.

What if I’m already scared?
Then you are in the right place. This is not a program for becoming fearless. It is a space to stop letting fear make every decision for you.

Is this about quitting my job or changing my whole life?
No. You are not required to make a dramatic move. You will explore what feels true and choose your own next brave thing—big or small.

How much time will this take each week?
Plan for approximately 4-5 hours for the live experience and your own reflection. This is designed to fit into a full life, not become another thing you have to perform perfectly.

What if I cannot attend live?
You will still receive the prompts, materials, and next-step guidance so you can continue at your own pace.

What exactly will I leave with?
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what is calling you, a kinder and more useful relationship with fear, and one realistic Next Brave Thing to try after the experience ends.

You can keep waiting for the day you finally feel completely certain.

Or you can give yourself 7 days to listen to the thing that keeps tapping you on the shoulder—and take one small, honest step with support.

Fear may still have something to say. It just does not have to be the one driving.

Enrollment closes Sept. 15 / or before if this cohort reaches capacity.
